Mike grew up in Los Fresnos, TX.  His musical journey started in 6th grade band and continued to St. Mary's University where he received his B.A. in Music Performance in 2004.

 

He taught elementary and middle school music for the next 6 years at St. Cecilia's Catholic School.  After that he was on staff with JBSA Randolph Chapel Services (CTOF) from 2008 - 2021 where he served as Music Director from 2013 - 2021.

Currently, Mike is Adjunct Faculty at St. Mary's University where he teaches Music Production & directs the university pep band.  He travels frequently to St. Louis and New York to record and perform with his band Lucas Jack.
